About the Artist

I have always been passionate about art. I was elected class artist for my class in high school and chosen for a summer tutor program at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. A full and wonderful life took up my time, and now that I'm retired, I am able to resume my old passion. 

Inspiration and subject matter come from a lifetime of my photos taken on vacation with my family on Cape Cod and the shore. 

I have always felt that "pencil" has been underrated and considered a minor art form. To me, it forces a focus on composition and detail rather than relying on color.
